Hormone therapy involves providing the body with the hormones it may be lacking due to a hormonal imbalance. Hormonal imbalances can lead to negative effects on your health, which is why it is important to address them. At Better Way Wellness, we offer a variety of natural and effective hormone replacement therapy options to help correct hormonal imbalances.

During perimenopause, a woman’s hormone levels begin to fluctuate, which can cause a variety of symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, irregular periods, and difficulty sleeping. These symptoms can be quite uncomfortable and can last for several years until the body fully transitions into menopause.

At Better Way Wellness, we code pellet therapy as a procedure, which allows many insurance companies to reimburse patients for the implant. We provide detailed paperwork for you to file for reimbursement. If you choose to move forward with pellet therapy, you will be required to file for reimbursement. Additionally, we accept flex accounts and HSA accounts as forms of payment for any medical procedure in our clinics.

We accept insurance for lab work only. If your insurance does not cover the lab work or if you have a high deductible, we have negotiated excellent cash rates with the lab for our patients.

For men, the cost of pellet insertion ranges from $625 to $775. Women require a smaller dose of testosterone, resulting in a cost ranging from $330 to $375. While the cost may vary depending on individual needs, pellet therapy proves to be cost-effective when compared to the expenses of treating individual symptoms of hormone decline. On average, it amounts to $1-2.00 per day.
For 30-minute medical consultations, the fee is $175. If you require a longer consultation or office visit ranging from 45 minutes to 1 hour, the fee ranges from $175 to $250. Please note that all cosmetic/aesthetic consultations are complimentary.

The actual pellets used in hormone pellet therapy are not FDA approved. However, it is important to note that the ingredients in the pellets are highly regulated by the FDA. Testosterone, one of the key ingredients, is a controlled substance and subject to FDA regulations. Our partner compounding pharmacies ensure the quality of the pellets by conducting third-party tests for sterility, potency, and purity.

Aside from pellet therapy, we also offer other treatment modalities such as creams, pills, patches, and rapid dissolve tablets. Our experienced healthcare practitioners will work with you to determine the most suitable treatment option based on your needs and preferences.
The initial labs conducted in our clinics encompass a comprehensive set of tests, including:
– CBC (Complete Blood Count)
– Chemistry panel
– Full thyroid panel (including free T3 and thyroid antibodies)
– Full hormone panel (testosterone free and total, SHBG, estradiol, FSH for women)
– Vitamin D, B12, and ferritin levels
– CRP (inflammatory marker)
– HGA1C (diabetes marker)
And more. These tests provide valuable insights into your overall health and hormone levels.
